Yoga guru Baba Ramdev had alleged the involvement of a Turkish maintenance agency whose contract with Indian airports was terminated in May 2025.
Turkish authorities said the maintenance agreements signed between Air India and Turkish Technic in 2024-25 were limited to the B777-type wide-body aircraft, not the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner involved in the fatal Ahmedabad plane crash.

A Boeing and AAIB investigation team arrived in Ahmedabad on Monday to inspect the Air India crash site. The June 12 disaster involving a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner resulted in over 270 fatalities, including former Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani.
Viswashkumar Ramesh, 40, the sole survivor of Air India Flight 171, is among the ranks of those spared by fate.
