Mixed martial arts will make its Asian Games debut next year in Nagoya, Japan, while cricket will remain on the programme after its controversial return at Hangzhou, the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) said.

The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) has retained cricket for the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, to be held in Japan from September 19 to October 4. The matches will be held in Aichi Prefecture but the exact venues are yet to be finalised.
