Wells Fargo is relocating from its downtown Sundance Square tower to a new office in Clearfork.

For the second time in less than a month, Wells Fargo has announced layoffs at its Jordan Creek campus in West Des Moines.

The layoffs will affect some people working in business lines that the San Francisco-based bank sees as growth opportunities.

Its headquarters are in San Francisco. The company was founded in 1852 to provide express and banking services to California in the gold rush era. Wells Fargo went public in June of 1972.
