SCAD officials say the buses are smaller than the old buses and the shuttle routes have not changed since 2012, according to a city staff report. Some SCAD students, however, offer a different view.

Far fewer college students ride SCAD buses. However, the buses provide a service to more than a private college and the students who attend classes. Each new bus can transport up to 58 riders.
