Authorities say a shooting involving a police officer outside Toronto’s Pearson International Airport cut off traffic heading to Terminal 1

A man is dead after a police-involved shooting at Toronto's Pearson International Airport on Thursday morning, authorites said. Peel Regional Police initially said in a social media post a man was shot outside the terminal.

The police said that the man had displayed a firearm. The shooting caused a partial shutdown of Canada’s busiest airport.
