Six are dead after a Royal Thai Police Viking Twin Otter crashed into the sea near Hua Hin on a post-maintenance test flight.

A Royal Thai Police Viking DHC-6-400 Twin Otter plane crashed into the Gulf of Thailand near Hua Hin Airport on Friday.

Five of the six officers were pronounced dead at the scene and the pilot, also a police officer, later died at a hospital.
