The VelociRaptor is based on the Ford F-250 Lariat truck modified with four doors, rear cargo doors like on the old Excursion, a middle row of captain's chairs and folding third-row bench seats.

The first "production" VelociRaptor SUV model was built by customer request without the third-row, creating a generously-sized cargo area, but the standard configuration will include a third row seat.
