A screenshot of a survey that named U.S. President Donald Trump the “greatest threat to world peace” in 2019 has resurfaced online with posts suggesting the survey is recent.

While Ron DeSantis can't run for governor again in 2026, some voters might want to see another DeSantis on the ballot. But one notable Florida voter, President Donald Trump, seems to have another candidate in mind.

The poll was released just hours after Trump took to Truth Social to boost the potential candidacy of Byron Donalds. The Republican Congressman from Southwest Florida does respectably well in the survey, with 3 in 10 Trump voters approving of the Congressman and just 2% disapproving. But that puts Donalds far from DeSantis’ +53.

“President Donald Trump began his presidency on a surge of popularity unprecedented for him,” the poll noted. “That has now faded.” It will be interesting to see if the polling continues to slide in a negative direction for Trump or if he can turn things around.
