Thousands of Tesla Cybertrucks have been recalled in the US due to concerns about part of the electric car's trim falling off in the model's eighth and largest ever recall. The issue affects more than 46,000 trucks made in 2024 and 2025, which analysts say amounts to nearly all Cybertrucks.

Tesla, Inc. is recalling more than 46,000 Cybertrucks after it was determined a side panel can detach and cause a road hazard.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s recall, which covers more than 46,000 Cybertrucks, warned that an exterior panel that runs along the left and right sight of the windshield can detach while driving, creating a dangerous road hazard for other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
