The Seattle Seahawks were expected to add a fullback to their roster in free agency earlier this offseason. Head coach Mike Macdonald appointed Klint Kubiak as his new offensive coordinator and play caller. Kubiak routinely utilized a fullback in the same role with the New Orleans Saints last season.

The Seattle Seahawks reportedly have a visit scheduled with one of their former players, opening the door for a reunion between Seattle and its former third-round pick.

Also new to the team is Klint Kubiak, an offensive coordinator who runs a system similar to Kevin O’Connell — the head coach of the Vikings. That’s one of the reasons Darnold was seen as a fit in Seattle as soon as Smith was traded.

Dallas Cowboys legendary pass-rusher DeMarcus Lawrence was the big addition, inking a three-year, $32.5 million contract with Seattle in free agency. Lawrence previously played his entire 11-year career with the Cowboys, earning four Pro Bowl nods and one Second Team All-Pro honor.
