Popular paranormal horror game Phasmophobia is getting a film adaptation from Blumhouse. The production company known for its horror films made the announcement at its first-ever The Business of Fear in Hollywood.

Initially released on PC before coming to consoles last year, Phasmophobia will now hit the big screen after Kinetic Games confirmed a film adaptation is being developed, with the studio collaborating with Blumhouse Productions and Atomic Monster on the project.

Phasmophobia, the ghost-hunting co-op game, is getting a movie adaptation. Horror specialist Blumhouse, alongside production studio Atomic Monster, is onboard to make a feature film of the creepy multiplayer experience.
