For several years now, the Salt Lake City Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has been undergoing renovations. Once the renovations are complete in 2027, the Salt Lake City landmark will be open to tours.

A target date is set for the reopening of the Salt Lake Temple. President Russell M. Nelson of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced Friday that the temple will open its doors for a public open house from April to October 2027.
