Nefarious game makers appear to be leveraging a chat-based Roblox exploit that results in automatic account bans for unsuspecting users.

Starting in early 2020, S.U. came into contact with adult men through Roblox, who encouraged her to sign up for Discord, Snapchat and Instagram to communicate with them, according to the lawsuit.

A Monroe County man is accused in a federal criminal complaint of using an online gaming platform to sexually exploit children, court documents said.

The lawsuit accuses Roblox of enabling predators, failing to verify ages, and ignoring safety red flags.
