Water and mud surround the Cincinnatus sculpture in Sawyer Point Park during recent flooding. As the Ohio River slowly recedes, it’s leaving behind mud in basements, yards, and roads.
"They're covered in mud," Parks Director Jason Barron said during a Friday afternoon tour of Sawyer Point. The good news: Given their location, the parks are designed to withstand river flooding.
