The Boston Red Sox got their guy. On Wednesday night the team agreed to sign All-Star third baseman Alex Bregman to a three-year, $120 million. It’s a bombshell signing that adds a much-needed right-handed bat to the Red Sox lineup. It also adds a jolt of excitement to Boston’s outlook for the 2025 season.

Alex Cora addressed sign-stealing topic again, taking responsibility and saying, “We made a mistake in ’17, and some of us paid the price."

The Red Sox agreed to terms with star infielder Bregman, putting an exclamation point on an excellent offseason.
