Becca Allen and Kia Nurse aren't just looking to bounce back from injury–they're embracing their roles in the Sky's strategic reset.

The Sky made two crucial moves to reinforce their backcourt Saturday, signing Kia Nurse out of free agency and trading guard Lindsay Allen to the Connecticut Sun in exchange for wing Rebecca Allen.

Allen averaged 7.4 points and 3.9 rebounds for the Mercury in 18 games last season. Nurse averaged 7.6 points for the Sparks coming off the bench.
