Rapid City, S.D. (KELO) –Rapid City’s Fire Department kicked off this year with its Paramedic Program. The Paramedic Program allows EMTs to move up the highest level they can in their field.

The Rapid City Fire Department celebrated the addition of 10 recruits to the department on Friday morning with a run through downtown Rapid City and the burning of their fire academy recruit t-shirts.
