A Colorado woman is due in court this week after authorities said some of her over 50 dogs attacked and killed her 76-year-old mother.

A Southern Colorado woman was arrested after her mother died from a dog attack. According to the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a report of an unconscious woman on February 3. Upon arrival,

"Detectives learned that while LaVonne Hoff was left alone, she was attacked by the dogs that were loose in the home," police said, citing an autopsy report that determined she died from a dog attack.
