Python continues to shake Java from its spot as one of the top programming languages.

Java searches were down 3.93% over the period, while Python gained 1.86%. The top 10 languages behind C, Java and Python are C++, C#, Visual Basic, Javascript, PHP, Assembly Language, and SQL.

Later, in 2021, Python became unstoppable and surpassed Java as well. Now, based on its sharp rise in June, it looks like C++ will soon overtake Java.
