‘Project Runway’ fashion designer from N.J. dead at 39
A New Jersey fashion designer who competed on “Project Runway” has died. He was 39. Sha’Vi Lewis, who participated in season 18 of the popular fashion competition series, died Monday. His aunt confirmed Lewis' death in a Facebook post Tuesday. A cause of death has not yet been revealed.

Born Franklin Shavi Lewis Frierson Jr. on Dec. 4, 1985, the designer competed on Season 18 of “Project Runway,” which premiered on Bravo in December 2019 and concluded in March 2020. Lewis finished the show in 10th place after being sent home in episode 6. His cause of death is not known at this time.
