A teen was shot and another was slashed Sunday night in Cypress Hills, according to police. Authorities say it happened around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of Jamaica Avenue and Elton Street.

The DOT says that the left lane and shoulder are closed on the eastbound side of the highway near milepost 37.
