The Grammy winning rapper and budding style icon made sure to impress for her first ever Met Gala appearance. For the special night, Doechii wore a custom Louis Vuitton tuxed jacket—emblazoned with the fashion house's signature "LV" logo—with matching checkerboard shorts and a contrasting mahogany tie.

Doechii collaborated with Louis Vuitton Men’s designer and Met Gala co-chair, Pharrell Williams, on the look. The rapper said she drew inspiration from the 2009 Monica L. Miller book, Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity, which inspired this year’s exhibition.

Doechii stamped the Louis Vuitton logo on her face for her debut at the 2025 Met Gala on Monday (May 5). She was literally head-to-toe in LV, from the monogram-printed logo blazer and vest to the tailored shorts with the brand's checkerboard Damier print to the mini speedy bag.
