There's already been one major reunion for the San Francisco 49ers this offseason after they succeeded in bringing back Robert Saleh for a second spell as defensive coordinator. Now Saleh is getting to reunite with an old friend by adding Gus Bradley to his staff on the defensive side of the ball.

The San Francisco 49ers might have pulled off the coup of this year’s coaching cycle, bringing back Robert Saleh to coordinate their defense.

Gus Bradley, a former NFL head coach and four-time defensive coordinator, will reportedly join the 49ers defensive staff in an as-yet unspecified role. Tom Pelissero of NFL Media was first to report the news.
