Amid the furore caused by Nintendo’s decision to charge $79.99 for Switch 2 exclusive Mario Kart World, it has emerged that some of the Switch 2 Edition games announced during the Nintendo Direct also cost $79.

Some Switch games, like Breath of the Wild, are getting upgraded versions for the new console called Nintendo Switch 2 Editions.
