Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant may have played his final game with the franchise after spraining his ankle earlier this week. With Durant on the sidelines, the Suns are facing elimination from Play-In Tournament contention in their final few games of the season.

The Phoenix Suns spoke with several teams about a Kevin Durant trade at the February trade deadline. However, the two-time Finals MVP wasn't traded. According to Brian Windhorst of ESPN, the Suns were looking for a massive haul in return for Durant, who turns 37 in September.

Kevin Durant was blindsided when the Phoenix Suns attempted to trade him to the Golden State Warriors at the deadline. He ultimately made it clear that he was not interested in returning to the team with whom he won two championships,
