Pronouncing pat, part and pathA lot of people get it wrong because they pronounce T and TH the same way. ‘Pat’ should sound as PAT but ‘path’ should come out as PATH, with the TH coming out softer than you have in T.
Here, you say “th” the same way as it sounds in “this”. Say: klohthz, though Americans may pronounce it the same as the word "close", such as in the phrase "I will close the door".
