Gardaí, along with other emergency services crew, are currently on scene in Dorset Street, Dublin after the crash between the double decker bus and ambulance, which occurred at around 9:30am.

DUBLIN, Ireland -- A bus full of high school students collided with two cars northwest of Dublin on Monday and tipped over into a ditch, killing five teenage girls and injuring 50 people, police said.

The single vehicle crash involved a Route 4 Dublin Bus and happened on the Northumberland Road, Dublin 4 at 10.30am. The road is currently shut to traffic with diversions in place.
