A woman crashed into a building and then fled, abandoning an injured 4-year-old boy who later died, California police reported. A white Infiniti FX35 hit a building at high speed at Crenshaw Boulevard and Rodeo Place at about 11 p.

The driver, an unidentified woman, fled the scene in the Crenshaw District before officers arrived and left the boy, a woman and a third passenger behind, the LAPD said.
