A failed post-race inspection kept Bryce Garnhart from a season-opening Late Model win Friday night at Davenport Speedway.

The MARS Late Model Series will be the featured class at the second annual Corn State Nationals on Sept. 12-13. For the fifth straight year the DIRTcar SummerNationals will appear at Davenport.

Bryce Garnhart appeared to have a season-opening Late Model win Friday night at Davenport Speedway. Garnhart led all 25 laps of the feature and crossed seven seconds ahead of anybody else.
