This is the eighth recall the stainless-clad vehicle has collected in the mere two years it’s been on the road. But unlike many of its previous offenses, this is one of the first significant body repairs that can’t be addressed with a simple over-the-air update.

Tesla Cybertrucks are facing a massive recall that will affect nearly every one of the futuristic-looking vehicles on the road. On Thursday, The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced a massive recall impacting more than 46,000 Cybertrucks.

Pieces of the Cybertruck's steel trim could fly off because of adhesive "susceptible to environmental embrittlement," according to a recall notice.
