ATLANTA — The Atlanta Falcons said Sunday that defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich’s son was responsible for a prank call made to Cleveland Browns draft pick Shedeur Sanders.

NFL Draft became the stage for a cruel prank against one of the most popular players in the class, Shedeur Sanders. After most projections had him as a Day 1 selection, if not a top-three pick, Sanders slid out of the first four rounds before landing as the 144th overall pick.

Of course, being labeled as one of the biggest NFL Draft losers of Round 1 doesn’t mean the future won’t play out in their favor.
