Corn acres are expected to go up while cotton and wheat are trending downward in latest planting intentions report, David Murray writes.

Corn acreage in Idaho increased by 10.5%, from 380,000 acres to 420,000 acres. Corn also increased in Oregon, from 100,000 acres to 105,000 acres, a 5% increase.
