A DePaul University soccer player was found dead in his dorm room Monday, according to the college and the Cook County Medical Examiner. Chase Stegall, 20, was originally from Atlanta and was sophomore on the men’s soccer team.

Chase Stegall, a sophomore midfielder on the DePaul men's soccer team, died on Monday. Stegall's father, Milton, is a Canadian Football Hall of Famer.

The DePaul University sophomore “passed away unexpectedly” on Monday, May 2, in his dorm hall residence on the school’s campus.
