A good Samaritan reported a capsized boat near St. Lucie Inlet in Florida. The U.S. Coast Guard rescued four people, while five remain missing.

Four people were rescued on Sunday, two days after the boat capsized off the state’s Atlantic coast, the authorities said.

The US Coast Guard has suspended the search for five people missing from what it called “a suspected failed smuggling venture,” after a boat carrying nine people capsized off the southeast coast of Florida early Saturday.
