1 dead, 3 hurt when Metra Electric train crashes into SUV in South Chicago overnight
A northbound equipment train struck the SUV on 87th Street near Baltimore Avenue at 12:30 a.m., according to Metra. Two occupants of the vehicle were taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn and another was taken to Trinity Hospital.
