It will be Potter's first game against Chelsea since his departure from Stamford Bridge in 2023: "I had some good times and special nights there. I wish them well as a club, I'm thankful to them because it was part of my journey. But I'm here now - I'm delighted with that. I'm looking forward to seeing some friends and playing the game."

Chelsea are reportedly set to try and hijack West Ham’s move to sign ‘promising’ star Stefanos Tzimas in a transfer blow for Graham Potter. West Ham, who are managed by former Blues boss Potter, have been heavily linked with a move to sign the Greek teenage sensation in January.

But Brighton’s Evan Ferguson on a six-month loan would be perfect for both clubs. He needs games under his belt and clubs need a No 9. At 20, he looks to have a huge future in the Premier League but could do with regular games in the coming months.
