On Saturday it was announced that former conservative radio host Charles Adler had been appointed to the Senate, along with twice-failed Liberal candidate and long-time donor Tracy Muggli.

“The appointment of Charles Adler to the Senate is a grave insult to all First Nations in Manitoba and across Canada,” wrote Grand Chief of the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs Cathy Merrick.
