Golfer Jim Dent, an Augusta native and Black golf pioneer, died at 85 after suffering a stroke. Dent caddied at Augusta National before turning pro, winning 12 senior tour events and two World Long Drive Championships. Known for his long drives, Dent played on the PGA Tour for 16 consecutive years and is honored in multiple Halls of Fame.
