The FIA have confirmed a change for the 2025 Monaco Grand Prix in a bid to prompt more exciting racing. Monaco is heralded as the jewel in F1’s crown, with its luxurious backdrop and historic legacy ensuring it's place as a staple on the sport’s calendar.

For the first time in the motorsport event's 100-year history, the Monaco race has appointed Swiss luxury watchmaker TAG Heuer as its title partner.

As it stood, the Monaco event was the only race on the 2025 schedule without a title sponsor, but in its determination to monetize every single aspect of the sport the race on the streets of the Principality will now be sponsored by the newly returned official timekeeper, Tag Heuer.
