HAMLIN, Texas - A missing 10-year-old girl who was the subject of an Amber Alert has been found safe. The Texas Department of Public Safety said 10-year-old Skylar Beach was safely located around 11:30 a.m. on Thursday.

Police are searching for Terry Jeter, a 43-year-old white man, in connection with Beach’s abduction, the alert from DPS said. Jeter was last seen in Hamlin wearing a black shirt and blue jeans and is believed to be driving a black 2002 Suzuki motorcycle with Texas license plate no. 138A4V.

An Amber Alert was issued early Thursday morning for a 10-year-old girl who was last seen in Hamlin, Texas, on Wednesday. Hamlin is located about 40 miles north of Abilene.
