One of the most striking things an American will notice on India's highways is how almost all their cargo seems to be transported by these lavishly decorated and slightly ramshackle large trucks.

We have photographed hundreds of amazing haulers in the years ... commercial work trucks and Divcos, off-roaders, big rigs, and even the occasional dump truck and cement mixer (as you will see).

Big trucks are big business ... And yet, somewhere around 105 of the trucks still survive to this day. It’s amazing to think that almost half of the total production run is still out there ...
