The FAA has extended its ground delay advisory for Newark Liberty International Airport until Wednesday morning.

Passengers traveling through Newark Liberty International Airport on Tuesday and hoping for a break from the ongoing delays there, were unfortunately out of luck. The FAA reported a ground delay program at Newark in effect due to FAA staffing at its Philadelphia operations center combined with low ceilings from weather and runway construction forcing use of a single runway.

Last Monday's radar and radio outage at Newark Airport brings a deep-rooted bramble of other debilitating problems to light.
