Disney oversaw the 10-month process, during which the cult-classic musical starring Tim Curry and Susan Sarandon was restored and remastered ahead of planned theatrical events and a Blu-ray release.

Since then, the movie has become famous for its midnight showings and audience participation. The remastered and restored version will include a new “Rocky Horror” logo, its iconic red lips now featuring a gold top hat inscribed with “50” in red ink.
