The 2024 BMW X5 five-seat luxury SUV features an updated interior with new displays and control technology, plus a more chiseled exterior and new 48-volt mild-hybrid powertrains across the lineup.

The big change for the new BMW X5 M SUV is that the V8 engine now has some mild-hybrid assistance. This doesn’t change the final output figures, but it does add 12 hp and 147 lb-ft at lower revs.
