The tex was not sent directly to SZA and was possibly sent to SZA’s then-manager, Punch. In a series of tweets, Nicki called SZA ugly, fathshamed her, and claimed she looked and sang like she had been “stung by a bee.” Fans called Nicki out for targeting yet another female artist.

The beef started with SZA’s manager, Punch TDE (TDE stands for Top Dawg Entertainment, an independent record label), posting two words: “Broken Barbies,” the name of a song he was promoting by the artist iAMLYRIC.
