The vigil for Taylor Walker was held the evening after the mass shooting in the city’s River North neighborhood. Walker, 26, was among four killed.

The attack happened Wednesday night outside a restaurant as people were leaving an album-release party for Chicago rapper Mello Buckzz. Another mass shooting happened at a club that operated from the same address in 2022.

A man is dead and a person-of-interest is being questioned after a fatal shooting in Chicago’s River North. According to Chicago police, the 46-year-old man was standing outside a vehicle in the 800 block of North Cambridge at approximately 9:48 a.m. when he was shot multiple times.
