As the San Francisco 49ers prepare for the start of training camp this week, two of their star players had contrasting injury updates.
Equanimeous is the brother of Lions superstar Amon-Ra St. Brown. The 49ers' new St. Brown has been in the NFL since 2018 when he was a sixth-round pick by the Packers. He has suited up for Green Bay, Chicago and New Orleans.
Injuries plagued the San Francisco 49ers in recent seasons, and things are not off to a great start before training camp. The 49ers placed six players on their active/physically unable to perform list, including wide receivers Brandon Aiyuk and Ricky Pearsall.

The 49ers also placed Malik Mustapha, Yetur Gross-Matos, Andre Dillard and Curtis Robinson on the PUP list, they announced on Friday. Aiyuk and Pearsall were placed on the list as they continue their respective recoveries from injury.
