The scheduled game between the Colorado Rockies and Kansas City Royals was postponed due to rain. After a delay of more than two hours prior to first pitch, the game was moved to Thursday, to be played as part of a traditional doubleheader.

After a two-hour-plus rain delay, Wednesday night’s game between the Rockies and Royals at Kauffman Stadium was postponed and will be played as the second game of a traditional doubleheader on Thursday beginning at 1:10 p.

The Rockies struck out nine times, led by Ryan McMahon, who had three in a 0-for-5 performance. Stallings and Aaron Schunk each added two hits, but the Rockies left 10 runners on base, going 0-for-7 with runners in scoring position.
