New Las Vegas Raiders head coach Pete Carroll is hiring a former head coach for the Philadelphia Eagles as his offensive coordinator. The move came after Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson revealed his feelings about going to the Raiders in free agency or staying with the Steelers.

After winning at Ohio State, Chip Kelly has returned to the NFL as Pete Carroll’s offensive coordinator with the Las Vegas Raiders. Kelly was considered an early target for the Jaguars and Texans positions.

Continuing to turn back the clock with their 2025 coaching staff, the Las Vegas Raiders are hiring Chip Kelly as their offensive coordinator, per ESPN’s Pete Thamel. The hire gives the Raiders a grizzled duo in head coach Pete Carroll, 73, and Kelly, who just turned 61 in November.
