BRUSSELS (Reuters) - The European Parliament has banned Huawei lobbyists from entering its buildings, a spokesperson for the parliament said on Friday, as authorities probe suspected bribery that could have helped the Chinese tech giant.

The European Parliament on Friday banned lobbyists working for Huawei from its premises following the arrests of several people in a corruption probe linked to the Chinese company, in yet another scandal to rock the bloc's legislature.

The European Parliament said Friday it has barred Huawei representatives from its premises, a day after police made a series of arrests in a probe into suspected corruption on behalf of the Chinese tech giant.
